Former Delta State Governor, Chief James Ibori on Friday shared a throwback picture when Ijaw villagers presented him with gifts including fish, liquor and money as he toured the western Niger Delta, 16 July 2003.
Ibori toured the province to try and resolve local differences and persuade the foreign oil firms to return.
Oil production in the area has been interrupted for the last 4 months due to ethnic unrest which saw the evacuation of international oil firms from their wells.
