Whatever you do, and in all things, please don’t break your back for anyone. Just do what’s convenient.
In truth, they don’t love you. They only love what they get from you while you’re here.
The average human is selfish. They always put self first but consider those who put others first stup*d after scoffing at them.
Whenever the chips are down and the equation changes, their response is standard: “Life goes on” as if it would have ceased given a different scenario.
Don’t die before your time, trying to satisfy all and thinking they appreciate your good deeds or gestures.
No, they feign the appreciation only because it takes care of their needs at the material time, and you’re the victim of their exploitation.
If only the dead could look back and were granted a rare chance to see the world they left behind. But the teachings of life and their lessons thereof are for the living.
Hopefully, those of us still with the breath of life will learn from those who had passed, seeing how quickly the world moved on from them, despite all they did to satisfy the ungrateful lot, often times at personal expense.
Selflessness is a curse, and the world has normalised it. Think!
