Turning 40 should be an exciting moment in your life, and for many reasons. Not a few enjoyed the grace to witness their 40th year on earth. It is mercy only at God’s disposal.

The number 40, the scripture says, signifies, among other things, new life, new growth, transformation, and a change from one great task to another.

This beautiful number further typifies the evolvement of life in general and the individual trajectory in specific. It is the median between growing up and growing old. 

No doubt, 40th birthdays are milestones. It is the age you transcend into mid-adulthood. Thus, at this point in your life, you’re too young and not too old. It is also why they say, “Life begins at 40.”
