Lagos To Seal Churches, Mosques Causing Environmental Disturbances

The Lagos State Government has announced its intention to shut down bars, churches, clubs, mosques, and companies that are causing environmental disturbances in the state.

During a management meeting with Dr. Babatunde Ajayi, the newly appointed General Manager of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) and directors in the agency, Mr. Tokunbo Wahab, the Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, revealed this information in Lagos.

According to the commissioner, “I charged them to review their operations strategies following accepted international best practices”.
