Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State, Senator Dino Melaye on Saturday donated the sum of N21million to the people of Ekirin-Adde in Ijumu Local Government Area of the state for the development of the land.
Melaye who holds the traditional title of Ariwajoye of Ekirin-Adde land was given a rousing welcome at the 2023 Ekirin-Adde Day celebration 2023 an annual event organised by the Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association (EACDA).
Speaking at the event, Melaye said the people of the town will have a pride of place in his government if elected in the November 11 2023 governorship election.
Melaye also received royal blessings from the paramount ruler of Ekinrin Adde, HRH Oba Anthony Bamigbaiye Idowu.
