Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, is reportedly set to leave Napoli in the summer, with the Ivorian living legend advising the Nigerian to shun any overture from Paris Saint Germain.
He is valued at £150 million and “has been heavily linked with a move away from the Serie A side and United are eager to bolster their attacking options,” Daily Mail reported.
Others eyeing the highly sought-after Nigerian striker are Real Madrid, Paris Saint- Germain, as well as Chelsea.
According to the UK media house, Manchester United have eyes set on Osimhen as they are still looking for a long-term replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who left the club in November.
This season United have scored only 46 times in the Premier League.
Chelsea has also been linked to having an interest in the striker with Didier Drogba saying that a move to Paris Saint-Germain would not be beneficial for the forward.
Speaking with Canal +, Drogba said, “If he is really in the sights of a club like PSG, it shows the full extent of his talent and the season he is having.
“But, PSG is not the club he needs to continue his progress.”
So far this season, Osimhen has scored 26 goals in 31 games for Napoli across all competitions.
