A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress and member of the 2023 APC Presidential Campaign Council (Campaign Planning), Omoba Tunde Ajibulu, mni, on Thursday said with the conclusion of litigations on the outcome of the 2023 presidential election, President Bola Tinubu can now focus on delivering good governance to Nigerians.
Ajibulu who described the ruling as a ‘fait accompli’ said the appeals filed by Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar challenging Tinubu’s victory was meant to destabilise the system.
“The judgement given was a fait accompli. We all knew it was mere rabble rousing and antics to irritate and destabilise the system. We can all now move on and the president can focus on good governance and moving Nigeria foward to deliver the renewed hope agenda. Congratulations to President Bola Tinubu. our great party, APC and well-meaning Nigerians”.
The Supreme Court affirmed the decision of the tribunal on Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi’s appeals.
The apex court affirmed that other panel members agreed with the lead judgment delivered by John Okoro, dismissing Atiku Abubakar’s appeal and challenging the judgment of the presidential petition tribunal.
