The Aida Nath Campaign Organisation (ANCO) has acknowledged the verdict of the Appeal Court and extended congratulations to Mr. Philip Agbese, who has been declared the Member of the House of Representatives for Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency.
Agbese, who is the Deputy spokesperson of the 10th House of Representatives and a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), had his election affirmed by the Court of Appeal in Abuja.
The three-man panel of Justices, led by Justice Onyekachi Aja Otisi, issued a unanimous ruling, dismissing the appeal filed by Aida Nath Ogwuche of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a statement signed by Rt. Hon. Chief James Oche, Director-General of ANCO, the organisation expressed its appreciation for the journey of the electioneering and litigation process.
According to Oche, while ANCO had reservations about the premise of the Appeal Court’s decision, the statement emphasized their commitment to respecting and accepting the verdict in utmost good faith.
The organisation encouraged Mr. Agbese to fulfill the expectations of the constituency and to honour the mandate entrusted to him.
The full statement reads “The leadership of the Aida Nath Campaign Organisation (ANCO) wishes to appreciate the Almighty God for seeing the team and its principal, Rt. Hon. Barr. Aida Nath Ogwuche through the electioneering and litigation process that has today come to an end. As much as we have reservations about the premise of the Appeal Court decision today, we make bold to respect and accept same in utmost good faith”.

We implore him to live up the expectations of our people and to justify the mandate entrusted into his hands.
